In 1935, Schrödinger introduced the word "entanglement" to describe a situation examined in famous Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen paper published few months before. The proper nature of quantum correlations that exist when two-partite system is an entangled state was subject controversy. contrast many other subjects, debate about entanglement came quite recently end.
